Vanity Fair and the Associated Press have reported that Mitt Romney has put huge sums of money into investments in offshore tax havens like the Cayman Islands and Bermuda. Is he avoiding paying U.S. taxes by having money in those tax havens? Was he trying to hedge against the dollar by having a Swiss bank account? We asked some ordinary Americans what they think of Mitt Romney’s financial arrangements.

Dude, the guy has offshore bank accounts. It's not a big secret or a speculation - we know he has them.
What we don't know is how much money he has in them, how much tax he has avoided, and to what extent he stands to personally gain from declines in the US economy.

You don't know if he has avoided ANY TAX. Actually there is income that is listed on his taxes to account for earnings from those accounts.
Look how the article asks these questions:

They are not saying that is what is happening. hey they are just asking innocent questions. Right?
BTW These are not the only reasons to have offshore accounts,
You would have offshore accounts if you owned companies that were offshore.
Avoiding tax with offshore property is what DEMOCRAT Charlie Rangle did.

After spending days pounding on presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney for having a Swiss bank account, disclosure forms show that DNC boss Debbie Wasserman Schultz also had funds in a Swiss bank account at one time. The Weekly Standard reported Tuesday that the Florida Democrat also had investments in foreign drug companies and the state bank of India.
